1896 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. Mostly untoned and boldly struck. Only 762 Proofs minted. The silvery hue reciprocates between levels of frost on the devices (nice satin-texture) and beautiful rolling mirrors which have an almost "watery" look to them. Lustrous, bright and well struck with rocking-fresh surfaces, in other words. Probably a good many are not as carefully struck as this Gem Proof, with no suggestion or even a whisper of weakness at the key areas of Liberty's hair and the eagle's chest and wings.
