Lot 3003

1894 Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-63. Scarce low mintage date. Bidders will take a shine to this handsome beauty. The coin is almost too ostentatious for what is, after all, an informal offering of silver dollars of 1894. It is not the Hope Diamond, yet all the same it does offer a high degree of luster spinning nicely on the satin, silvery surfaces of this bright and elusive date. The strike is crisp and detailed in most areas, though some lack of detail may be noted where a few hair waves fuse together above the ear (PCGS # 7228) .
Estimated Value $3,800 - 4,000.

Realized $4,428
