1879 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded MS-65 Red. This coin is fully struck with outstanding luster. The reverse is somewhat prooflike and the surfaces are remarkably defect free. There are a few light flecks on the surface of the coin, but they do not appreciably detract from the overall beauty of this piece. Pop 53; 16 finer; 14 in 66; 2 in 67. (PCGS # 2135) .
