1871 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded AU-58 Brown. Nice chocolate brown toning, although there is a tiny mark at Liberty's nose; close to full Mint condition otherwise, and among the scarcer issues of the 1870s. Two date punches were used on 1871 Indian cents (as well as 1871 two-cent pieces). This has the digits evenly spaced; the other die has 71 crowded together (PCGS # 2100) .
