1931-D $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-62 PQ. Well struck with lovely shades of gold and light green toning. A few light abrasions in the blouse, on the lower part of the torch, and in the nearby field. From top to bottom, from stem to stern, an beautiful specimen that shows impressive mint brilliance over spotless surfaces. What gladdens us most is to see a crisp rather than a dullish, smooth impression was left by the pressure of the dies that struck this sharp '31-D. A very scarce date. PCGS holder 50195814.
