1911-S $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-66. Well struck and frosty. This is one of the smoothest, cleanest, and most satiny examples of the 1911-S issue that bidders will be presented. In fact, few records exist for MS66 twenties offered in recent years. The full, flashy luster radiates from nicely toned orange-golden fields in a pleasing somersaulting display, and there are few surface blemishes to distract the eye. While a plentiful date in typical bagmarked grades, the 1911-S becomes very scarce at or above the premium Gem level of preservation offered here. A coin with the full weight of history behind it!
