1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Wreath reverse, vine and bars edge. . S-9, R2. PCGS graded AU-58. Glossy steel brown and chocolate delicately mottled with slightly darker olive brown tones. Sharply struck and very attractive. The only mark worthy of mention is a very light nick on the chin, and it is barely visible. Early die state, Breen state I, without the die crack through ICA. Struck very slightly off center to K-4 leaving some of the border beads tight to the rim. EAC grade EF45. Outstanding eye appeal for the grade. The Hesselgesser provenance is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 11; 28 finer.
