1939 Oregon Trail Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-66. Light pastel toning. Part of a three-coin set (which we are offering in individual lots), mintage for the 1939-PDS set was only 3,000. Desirable satin luster flows across pristine surfaces. Devices, which are the luster's accompaniment, were struck with energy and full vigor by the dies, imparting all design elements boldly. Pop 272; 84 finer; 79 in 67; 1 in 67 Star; 2 in 68; 2 in 68 Star. (PCGS # 9352) .
