1878 Morgan Dollar. 8 tail feathers. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. A gorgeous, bascially untoned gem, with intense mirror surfaces and splendid frosty devices. Only 500 proofs made and with the exception of the 1878 7 tail feather variety, the rarest proof Morgan dollar. Pop 7; 4 finer in 67. (PCGS # 7311) .
