1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Wreath reverse, vine and bars edge. . S-8, R-3. PCGS graded VF-35. Very attractive glossy steel and chocolate brown with hints of mint frost in protected areas of the reverse. The surfaces are smooth and choice, free of any marks, corrosion, or planchet flaws. The only defects on this otherwise flawless cent are several light rim bruises on both sides, the notable ones at S-OF-AM. The date and legends are bold. MDS, Breen state II. The bisecting reverse crack is clear inside the wreath. A premium example in spite of the light rim marks. EAC grade VF25 (PCGS # 1347) .
