Lot 3270

1901 Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo. A few minor obverse spots which will dip out. Luminous golden toning, particularly at the rims. Only 813 proofs struck. From one side to the other the luminous silvery luster glows with firebolt brilliance. Remembering always that this is a key issue in higher grades (business strikes as well as the desirable Proofs), and as is often seen fortunately, the imprint that was left by the carefully made Proof dies has full sharpness on all devices. Even so, this coin stands apart for this date in terms of its overall eye-appeal. It has a wonderful clear sharp strike. It has boundless beauty that should attractive a lot of bidding attention. Pop 5; 12 finer; 5 in 65; 7 in 66. (PCGS # 87336) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500.
