Lot 3176

1893-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Last year of the "CC" mint. Well struck and choice. The Carson City Mint had a short by illustrious history. It closed in 1893 due to political considerations by the Grover Cleveland administration. This last-of-the-breed silver dollar is a lovely choice Mint State example with top-notch eye appeal. Most examples of the 1893-CC Dollar are heavily bagmarked, weak in the centers, and just don't look very attractive; however, the coin offered to you with this lot is a wonderful exception. Both sides have bright silver luster and are sharply struck and look too grand to pass up. Pop 392; 7 finer ion 65. (PCGS # 7222) .
Estimated Value $9,000 - 10,000.

Realized $10,350
