Lot 2595

1897 Barber Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Frosty and lightly toned. Bright silver color still erupts from original toned surfaces untouched by mishandling or spots. A strong strike as well, making this an advantageous Gem for the focused Barber half dollar collector. Neither is there any deviation in the sharp relief seen, not even in the centers of the coin. We have examined this impressive coin only for about a minute and have fallen in love with its beauty, as we suppose bidders will. Pop 14; 18 finer in 66. (PCGS # 6477) .
Estimated Value $2,600 - 2,800.
The Greenhill Collection.

Realized $2,990
