1915-S Panama-Pacific Gold $2.50. PCGS graded MS-64. This boldly detailed representative from the 1915-S Panama-Pacific Expo series is mostly light greenish-gold in color with sleek, bright metallic frosted features. No deviation in the sharp relief seen on either Columbia or the hippocampus (a mythical beast, comically portrayed on this design as rearing back, its hooves in the air), not even in the centers of the coin show the least bit of softness. A beautiful design. An attractive coin (PCGS # 7450) .
