Those who are intimate with the qualities of early Proof cents like the copper-nickel pieces of 1859-64 will see at once that this is a carefully preserved and just as carefully made Proof. It occupies a unique position that is right on the dividing line between Proof 64 and Proof 65 condition (PCGS # 82265) .
