1881 Quarter Dollar Round Indian Head. . BG-887. Rarity 3. PCGS graded MS-64. Nicely toned with refelctive surfaces. Also, the portrait has a bold strike and is very impressive for a small round Indian quarter dollar. As with others of this design, the authorities are uncertain who exactly issued the piece. Some have suggested Herman J. Brand as the man working behind the scenes. Pop 65; 26 finer. (PCGS # 10748) .
