1876 Dollar Octagonal. Liberty "Baby Head". . BG-1117. High Rarity 7. PCGS graded MS-62. The plate coin for the Breen-Gillio book. A magnificent example of this rare and popular type. A nice complete strike with stunning olive and copper-orange iridescence over slightly mirror surfaces. Only four or five known in all grades. PCGS has graded a total of 2 examples. Pop 1 with 1 in MS-63 (PCGS # 10928) .
