Lot 3069

1802. Narrow date. BB-241; B-6 R1. NGC graded EF-45. Nice even light gray toning on both sides. Pop 2; 16 finer graded at NGC for this variety. Deficient just a bit on the striking detail on central hair curls and upper end of the draper at Liberty's shoulder; also there is just a little weakness on the eagle's wings, the upper part as well as the lower feathers, but all in all a fresh, uncleaned, and "original" specimen without a single disturbing edge mark.
Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000.

Realized $3,680
