1883 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 67. Wonderful rich rainbow toning. 1,039 proofs minted. The surfaces are highly lustrous and each side has a splendid bull's eye patina that swirls and alternates between lighter and darker hues, almost all of them shimmer with electric iridescence. Both the peripheries and the central reverse are detailed and absolutely 100% crisp for their sharpness of strike, which is a forceful reminder in a Proof from this decade that it is quality that counts.
