1947 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Gorgeous multi-color toning on both sides. Worth a premium. There is little to say about the surfaces of this coin as they are as near to perfect as imaginable with their pastel iridescence that takes your breath away. The mint frost which pushes its way through is thick, and it radiates intensely over each side. There is an endless opportunity here for the far-sighted collector. So ends the discussion of the luster. Now on to the detail. This piece is not just close to, not just "almost", but completely and honestly struck, with terrific detail at Liberty and the eagle.
