1873 Silver Three Cents. PCGS graded Proof 65 PQ. Lovely toning on both sides. Well struck. Only 600 struck, all as proofs. Pop 10; 10 in 66; 2 in 67. Lustrous, satiny to Proof-finish surfaces display rich colors and splendid iridescence, with the overall appearance greatly bolstered by sharp details. Regarding this date, 1873 is the final date in the series, and is also the only Proof-only issue (PCGS # 3724) .
