Lot 737

1901 Barber Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 66. Mostly white with a cameo effect although not called a cameo on the holder. A one-in-a-hundred example of this typical "all brilliant" issue, with abundant luster that shimmers over pristine devices. A blunt impression is sometimes left by the recoil of the dies that struck this year's coinage; just the same, we can report that this gorgeous Proof 66 specimen, unlike the others, is outstanding in its detail and sharpness, as well as the overall visual impact that it gives. 813 proofs minted. Pop 18; 10 in 67. (PCGS # 5687) .
Estimated Value $2,700 - 2,900.

Realized $2,300
