1798. Heraldic eagle reverse, close date. BB-118, B-28. NGC graded VF-30. Mostly even toning on both sides, though somewhat rough and granular, plus a few light scratches near the lower left-hand stars. The 1798 BB-118 is of medium rarity among die varieties of the year. Bowers estimates that 275 to 450 exist (PCGS # 6873) .
