1802 Draped Bust Dollar. Narrow date. PCGS graded VF-35 B-6; BB-241. Toned on both sides, a combination of deep grays with mid-level russet brown and some dusky purple shades. This is a scarce year from the end of the series, one of only 41,650 minted using multiple die combinations (in those days, a typical die might be able to strike no more than a few thousand pieces before it broke) (PCGS # 6895) .
