1864 Indian Head Cent. Copper-nickel. PCGS graded Proof 65 PQ. Subtle radial luster over lightly filmy surfaces. The periphery displays warmer golden toning on both obverse and reverse. We note two tiny tick marks just below the curl left of ear. Light blue iridescence seen throughout. Mintage of only 370 pieces this year and rare in gem condition. PCGS population of 41 in PR-65, 9 in PR66 and 2 in PR-67 as finest (PCGS # 2265) .
