1926-S $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-61 PQ. Lustrous orange gold surfaces with light film on the obverse. An example that is boldly struck and very choice for the grade. The surfaces are clean on this piece, further adding to its pleasing eye appeal. The San Francisco Mint produced 2,041,500 pieces and the 1926-S is one of the more common mintmarked pieces from this time frame. PCGS has graded a total of 44 in MS-61 (PCGS # 9185) .
