1925-S $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded AU-55 PQ. A beautiful and completely original example of this scarce Saint Gaudens double eagle. While extremely rare in the high mint state grades, the 1925-S is still hard to find in a pleasing AU condition. The present example is as choice an AU piece as one could hope to find and very scarce as such. Rich orange-gold coloration with untouched surfaces and satiny luster. Wonderful metal flow lines in the fields. Housed in an older green label PCGS holder (PCGS # 9182) .
