Lot 2391

1901-O $10 Gold Liberty. PCGS graded MS-63. Rich orange-gold coloration with soft, satiny surfaces. The original skin of the coin is completely intact and emboldened by radial luster. The New Orleans Mint struck only 72,041 coins and any survivor in correctly graded MS-63, such as this example, is very scarce with near-gem examples very rare. A very pleasing and enchanting example of this condition rarity. PCGS has graded 42 in MS-63, 8 in MS-64 and 2 in MS-66 as finest (PCGS # 8748) .
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,300.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.

Realized $3,795
