1892-CC $5 Gold Liberty. PCGS graded AU-58. Light yellow gold surfaces with frosty luster. Near-uncirculated in condition with luster rolling across the cheek. Due to the attractive semi-reflective nature of the fields, a few abrasions are noticeable in the fields. A choice and original example of a relatively scarce Carson City half eagle. An issue that rarely comes finer than the MS62 grade and the second to last year that the Carson City Mint produced half eagle gold coinage. PCGS population of 40 in AU-58 with only 58 finer (PCGS # 8380) .
Estimated Value $650 - 700.

Realized $1,553
