Lot 1762

1873 Liberty Seated Dollar. PCGS graded MS-62. Untoned and boasting superbly frosty and satiny surfaces. A beautiful touch of reflectivity adds even more eye appeal to this undervalued With Motto Seated dollar. There is a short tick mark between stars 3 and 4. A short horizontal planchet impression, mint made, is noted at the upper right of star 7. Another deeper planchet impression, mint made, just below the E of UNITED. Just a pleasing, original and fun coin to look at. Another piece from this fantastic collection that would make a fabulous type example for this series. PCGS has graded 24 in MS-62 with only 43 finer (PCGS # 6971) .
Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.
