Draped Bust Dollar. 1802, 2 over 1. Narrow date. B-1. R-4. PCGS graded VF-20. A nice and original example of this scarce variety. Technical wear in the hair and on the curls has taken many years to tone over and the entire coin has a uniform color. There are no planchet problems and the rims are full and without bruising. The only marks to mention are an old nick on the jawbone and another left of the eye. The diagnostic dot between upper lip and nose is visible. Overdate is strong. A choice coin. Housed in an old green label, fat letters PCGS holder (PCGS # 6898) .
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,400.

Realized $2,530
