Draped Bust Dollar. 1800. Bolender-16. Rarity-2. PCGS graded AU-50. Uncommonly choice and original. Faint champagne hues over crisp fields. Almost full luster on both sides. Liberty's top curl is bold and brilliant. Metal flow lines visible in the reverse periphery which add to the originality of this Heraldic Eagle early dollar. Large, curving die crack arcs from the right side of second 0 in date and continues to the 10th star, making identification of this variety immediate. Die dot just above the top curl. Astoundingly choice! PCGS population is 42 in this grade. (PCGS # 6887) .
Estimated Value $5,500 - 6,000.
