Draped Bust Dollar. 1798. Heraldic eagle reverse, wide date, 13 arrows. Bolender-14. Rarity-4. VF-30. Light hairlines over pewter surfaces. Faint clashmark just to the right of the first star, an imprint of the eagle's upper right wing. Sharp detail and quite frankly the reverse has textbook XF detail. A dull, old scratch at the cloud underneath the left side of O in OF. A pleasing early dollar!
