Lot 731

Liberty Standing Quarter Dollar. 1916. PCGS graded EF-40. A perfectly balanced example of this key date to the series and one that should bring fierce bidding in this collectible grade. Even, delicate gray surfaces with satiny luster still in the periphery. This piece is significant in the fact that while it definetely possesses XF wear, there are no marks that normally would correspond with such circulation. In fact, one can only find a tiny tick mark in the lower portion of the gown. Reverse detail is just as remarkable and light charcoal toning in the lettering magnifies the eye appeal. A classic first year of issue key date with a large collector base that is constantly growing (PCGS # 5704) .
Estimated Value $7,000 - 9,000.

Realized $10,350
