1795 Washington Halfpenny. Grate reverse, large buttons, reeded edge. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. Original mint red still seen on the planchet. It appears that perhaps the planchet was a little small, as the lettering at 6:00-11:00 touches the edge of the flan. Lustrous and well struck. The reverse has very sharp design detail and rich luster. PCGS has graded 12 in this grade with none higher (PCGS # 747) .
