1787 New Jersey. Shield outlined. PCGS graded AU-50. A choice mixture of light brown, olive and maroon hues on both obverse and reverse. Faint clashmarks of the shield are seen just to the right of the plow. A common variety in an uncommon grade. Planchet quality is good and the coin is only the slight bit off-center, not effecting the lettering. PCGS has graded 12 in AU50 and 10 finer, the finest being a MS62. (PCGS # 503) .
