1799 Draped Bust Dollar. 13 Star Reverse. B-9. R-1. NGC graded MS-63. A fantastic Bust Dollar. Well struck and perfectly centered on a problem-free planchet. We note some faint old scratches in the right obverse field that can only be seen under strong magnification. These are well hidden beneath the splendid natural violet toning that terminates at the borders to electric blue iridescence. Pop of 18 with 9 in MS-64, 5 in MS-65 and 1 in MS-66 for all varieties.
