1807 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-105, Rarity-2. PCGS graded AU-58. PQ. A lovely example of the early Draped Bust type, here with soft luster beneath a uniform layer of silver-gray and golden toning. No adjustment marks, no noticeable surface impairments -- just a nice, clean coin with great eye appeal. According to the census listed in Overton, this is one of the finest examples known of the variety, in-between a pair of AU-55's and two Mint State pieces. Housed in an older-generation, green label holder and the coin shows the conservative grading of years past (PCGS # 6079) .
