1866 Shield Nickel. Rays. PCGS graded Proof 64. Well struck with all the stripes in the shield sharp and distinct. The dazzling mirror surfaces are basically spot-free. Only about 200 proofs were made and only a small handful have remained as choice as this lovely example (PCGS # 3817) .
