1913-D $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-64. Fully lustrous and choice. What appears to be a rim nick at the top of the reverse is actually a planchet flaw that was not obliterated when this coin was struck. This is another date that is fairly common in the assigned grade, but which becomes extremely scarce in MS-65. PCGS reports 468 in MS-63, 75 in MS-65, and only 1 in MS-66 (PCGS # 9162) .
