1903 Louisiana Purchase-Jefferson Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Bright original luster on both sides, with one dark copper spot above and right of the E in ONE on the reverse. We note three tiny planchet flakes in the left obverse field, and the dies show the usual peripheral wear which shows up as roughness above and through the peripheral lettering (PCGS # 7443) .
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,500.
From the Benson collection and purchased from Ira S. Reed on February 26, 1944 for $6.50.
