Lot 2146
$20 Liberty. 1856-S. PCGS graded AU-55. Clean surfaces even for this lofty grade, with luster in the protected areas. Well struck, but the obverse die was lapped so a few of the upper stars lack definition on their inner points. This one was not on the S.S. Central America (PCGS # 8919) .
