1918, $2 Boston Federal Reserve Bank Note. Fr-747. KL-146. Plate A-1; Serial #A69A. A remarkable Battleship Duce from the Boston Federal Reserve district bearing the exotic and sexy serial number being the 69th note printed. Nice broad margins against the embossing of black inks contrast against the deep blue overprint of the Treasury Seal are highlighted by the bright white background of the note. The reverse exhibits even broader margins with forest green inks that detail the design of the New York Class Battleship. According to Track and Price, no Fr. 747 Gem 66 notes have appeared at auction in the past 10 years. Tied for the Finest Known example. Legacy graded Gem New 66PPQ. Estimated Value $5,000 - UP
