1885. PCGS graded Proof 65 Cameo. A magnificent gem Proof that offers not only outstanding surfaces, but also the desirable cameo contrast too. Thus the boldly mirrored fields are strongly reflective, while the devices are showered in frost from the dies, creating wonderful and eye catchng contrast. This is one of the finer examples to survive, with glittering flash and unending eye appeal. Well struck and brilliant. Only 1,105 struck. Pop 3; 6 finer for Proof Cameo, 5 in 66, 1 in 67.
