1803 C-4 R4 VF25+. Glossy chocolate brown with lighter brown in protected areas on the obverse. The only notable defects are a small rim nick off the bust tip, a rim bruise at the second T in STATES, and a small patch of reddish toning at the C in CENT. Struck with the reverse rotated 20 degrees clockwise relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation. A nice example of this tough die variety. Estimated Value $400 - UP
