1808 S-277 R2. PCGS graded EF-45. Glossy medium steel brown and chocolate with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. Flowline luster covers the protected areas on both sides and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. Lightly worn with just a few light contact marks. The notable marks are a minor rim bruise at star 2, a couple more barely visible ones at stars 10 & 11, and a stronger one at ME in AMERICA. LDS, Breen state IX, with star 1 quite weak but still visible (the so-called 12-Star die state) and strong die cracks through the D in UNITED. There is a small internal cud break inside that D. Struck with the obverse die misaligned to K-7.5. Our grade is VF35. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 8 finer.
