Lot 657

1924-D Buffalo Nickel. PCGS graded MS-64. Another well struck example of an early mintmarked buffalo. Steel gray with more luster than others, and slight doubling is noted on the date. The only signs of weakness are at the top of the reverse legend. On the tail, we see a bit of a split, and the head is well formed but not as crisp as seen on later issues, but decent nonetheless.
Estimated Value $700 - 800.

Realized $978
