1884. NGC graded Proof 68 Cameo. Super rich golden toning. As rarely seen on these the fields and devices offer the cameo contrast with incredible quality surfaces. Examination finds nothing to fault here, just pristine golden surfaces, mirrored fields and devices bathed in frost. The date shows strong repunching as commonly seen, usually on the Proofs of this year. Only 1,006 struck. Pop 3; tied for the finest examples graded at both services.
