Lot 1885

1841-C. PCGS graded AU-55. CAC. Nice strike with lovely golden toning. Worthy of a higher graded. Only 10,281 struck, today CoinFacts estimates about 110 are known. This is one of the finer examples too, as just a couple appear to be fully mint state. Nicely struck by the dies with full definition on the devices. Toned with a hint of coppery gold around the rims and lustrous. This is one of the tougher Charlotte Mint issue to find at all, let alone nice like this coin!Pop 14; 8 in 58; 1 in 62. (PCGS # 7721) Estimate Value $5,500 - 6,000

Realized $6,900
