Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 103

Lot 1299

1893-CC. PCGS graded MS-63. Lovely golden toning on both sides which shows teal and russet accents around the rims. The toning is old and original, and gives the coin a most attractive appearance. Of course, the 1893-CC is one of the tougher Carson City coins to find in mint state grades, with this choice coin showing good luster and excellent eye appeal. The strike is a touch soft at the centers, as often seen for this issue. This was struck in the final year of production of the Carson City Mint (PCGS # 7222) Estimate Value $6,000 - 6,500
